The national average price of gas here in the U.S. rang-in at $3.49 per-gallon Tuesday morning.

According to the AAA, prices over the last several weeks this summer have barely budged. In-fact, the latest national average is down only one-cent from a week-ago and is exactly the same as a month-ago now.

Last-year at this time, drivers throughout the U.S. were paying an average of $3.75. In New York, the AAA says motorists are paying an average of $3.60 as of this report, which is one-cent cheaper than a week ago and two-cents more than a month-ago.

Last-year at this time, drivers were paying an average of $3.81 for gas in New York. Locally, motorists are filling up for as low as $3.59 in Lowville, NY and $3.69 in Boonville, NY, according to GasBuddy.

For comparison, GasBuddy is reporting a few cheaper pump prices in the city of Watertown, NY, but most establishments seem to be offering similar price ranges as of this report.

The same can be said about the city of Syracuse, NY.

Finally, gas prices in the cities of Rome and Utica, NY are ringing-in in the $3.50 range and up.
