Suspect accused of violating court order in town of Leyden: LCSO

LEYDEN- A resident from the Central New York area is accused of violating a protection order in the Southern end of Lewis County.

On Sunday, the Sheriff’s Office announced the arrest of Michael A. Marsden, 32, of Blossvale, NY for one misdemeanor count of criminal contempt in the second-degree.

Police said Marsden allegedly violated a court order of protection in the town of Leyden. The incident occurred on Friday, authorities said.

At press time, the Sheriff’s Office said that Marsden was processed and released on an appearance ticket, returnable to Leyden Town Court at a later date.

There were no further details released.
