Suspect charged with criminal contempt in Croghan, Troopers say

CROGHAN- Police say a suspect is accused of disobeying a court order in Lewis County.

Douglas M. Tuttle, 29 (no home address provided), was arrested early Wednesday by the New York State Police (Carthage). Tuttle is formally charged with one misdemeanor count of criminal contempt in the second-degree (disobeying court order).

According to Troopers, the arrest stems from a welfare check last Wednesday in the town of Croghan.

An arrest status for Tuttle was not available at press time.
