BOONVILLE- A domestic incident this week in the village has resulted in the arrest of a local resident.

During the morning hours on Tuesday, Boonville Police responded to a domestic incident at 116 West Street.

Investigation resulted in charges of criminal obstruction of breathing, endangering the welfare of a child and criminal mischief in the fourth-degree being filed against Mark R. Seelman, 37, of Boonville, NY.

Seelman was taken into custody before being arraigned and then remanded to the Oneida County Jail on $1,000 bail.

Though officials have not publically confirmed this, Flack Broadcasting did hear from a handful of local folks who claimed that Adirondack Central School was placed on a brief lockout Tuesday morning, due to an incident in the village.

Again, officials from the school or from the police department have not publically confirmed yet if this arrest was correlated to that lockout.

We will update with any new information that may be released.
