Texas resident accused of criminally possessing weapon in Boonville, Troopers say

BOONVILLE- A resident from out of state is accused of criminally possessing a weapon in Northern Oneida County.

State Troopers from the Marcy Barracks arrested and charged Kyle MacPherson, 23, of Channelview, TX during the late hours Monday for one misdemeanor count of criminally possessing a weapon in the fourth-degree.

State Police said this arrest stems from a reported shots fired complaint sometime around 9:40 p.m. Monday in the town of Boonville.

At press time, authorities said an investigation was still pending. MacPherson was issued with an appearance ticket.

There were no further details provided.
