LEE- Three times in 36-hours – that’s how many times a local man has been arrested in the wake of a reported fight with his wife while in the presence of children.

Yesterday afternoon, we reported that Jerry A. Lohr, 37, of Lee Center, NY was arrested for the second time after he allegedly violated a newly issued court order of protection.

He did so by calling the victims from the dispute. As of this latest update, the Oneida County Sheriff’s Office is reporting that Mr. Lohr was arrested for the third time Wednesday.

He was originally charged Tuesday evening for misdemeanor counts of endangering the welfare of a child and violations of harassment in the second-degree after getting into a fight with his wife while in the presence of their children.

For violating the order of protection, Lohr was charged with misdemeanor counts of criminal contempt in the second-degree.

Sheriff’s Deputies pointed blame towards the state’s bail reform laws.
