ONEIDA COUNTY- A collision resulted in non-life threatening injuries for two drivers and a passenger over the weekend in Oneida County, emergency responders say.

It happened shortly after 6:30 p.m. Saturday at the intersection of New Floyd Road and Koenig Road, town of Floyd, according to 9-1-1 dispatch.

Investigation via the Sheriff's office suggests that Jefferey Danielewicz (57) of Floyd, NY was driving a 2019 GMC Truck Southbound on Koenig Road when he failed to stop at the stop sign at New Floyd Road.

As Danielewicz proceeded through the intersection, he collided with a 2020 Honda Sedan traveling East on New Floyd Rd, operated by Destiny Ketcher (25) of Arkansas.

Both drivers and a passenger in Ketcher's vehicle were transported to Rome Memorial Hospital for non-life-threatening injuries.

Danielewicz was issued traffic tickets returnable to Floyd Town Court on a later date.

Floyd Fire Department and AmCare Ambulance assisted on-scene.
