Town of Webb Police announces successful Shop with a Cop event for 2023

OLD FORGE- The Town of Webb Police Department is thanking everyone who helped make this year’s Shop with a Cop event another success.

Held on Thursday, Chief of Police Ron Johnston says Shop with as Cop provides a chance for his police department to mingle with members of the community and help the holiday season feel extra special.

“Being able to take these kids out and show them how much the community supports them is such an overwhelming feeling,” the Chief said.

“We as police officers are so proud of this and grateful we can do this for the kids in the community!”

After a local shopping spree, children who participated in this year’s event had the opportunity of wrapping their gifts with Webb Police Officers.

The event was wrapped up with a pizza party.

On behalf of the Town of Webb Police, Chief Johnston would like to sincerely thank all businesses and community members who helped ensure a family fun event.
