WEBB- A suspect from out of state was jailed over the weekend after allegedly causing injury to someone during a dispute by throwing a cell-phone at their head, authorities are reporting.

Evan M. Taylor, 42, of Spring Grove, PA was arrested early Sunday by the Town of Webb Police. Taylor is officially charged with one felony count of assault in the second-degree, along with one misdemeanor count each of criminally possessing a weapon in the fourth-degree and unlawful imprisonment in the second-degree.

According to Chief of Police Ron Johnston, officers investigated complaints of a domestic dispute in the Town of Webb. 

Investigators have determined that Taylor injured a victim by throwing a cellular phone at their head. Furthermore, police say Taylor then physically restricted the victim from fleeing the room to safety or to seek medical attention. 

Following an arraignment in Herkimer County CAP Court, Taylor was jailed on $10,000 cash or $50,000 bond.
