TRAFFIC ALERT: Boonville Police issues annual no parking order for Tuesday, July 23 for traditional parade downtown

BOONVILLE- If you plan on visiting the village on Tuesday, July 23, 2024, local officials remind that there will be some traffic adjustments in place for the traditional fair parade.

According to the Boonville Police Department, there will be a temporary no parking order effective for these following streets:

  • Academy Street and Charles Street (Noon until 9:00 p.m.).
  • Main Street and Schuyler Street (4:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m.).
  • Post Street (from 4:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m.).
  • Aubrey Avenue and West Street (from 4:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m.).
  • Ford Street and Summit Street (4:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m.).
  • Schuyler Street to the Adirondack High School Bridge crossing (from 4:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m.).

The parade begins in the evening down by the fire hall and runs up Main Street before cutting across Post Street and up Ford Street, where it ends at the fairgrounds.

The 136th annual Boonville-Oneida County Fair runs Tuesday, July 23 through Sunday, July 28.
