Traffic stop leads to drug related accusations against Lewis County pair: State Police

RUTLAND- A Lewis County pair is faced with drug related accusations in the wake of a North Country traffic stop this week, authorities say.

Corey J. Noftsier, 31, of Lowville, NY and Christina A. Dollinger, 39, of Lowville, NY were both arrested by the New York State Police late Thursday afternoon. Dollinger is officially charged with one count of operating a motor vehicle while impaired by drugs in the first-degree, while Noftsier is officially charged with one misdemeanor count of criminally possessing a controlled substance in the seventh-degree.

According to Troopers, these charges were filed in the wake of a traffic stop shortly before 5:00 p.m. Thursday in the town of Rutland.

At press time, police said both Noftsier and Dollinger were issued with an appearance ticket.
