ROME- A traffic stop this week led to a drug bust, authorities say.
Tiffany L. Morey, 32, was arrested Tuesday by Rome City Police following a traffic stop near the 300 block of Turin Street. She is officially charged with an A-II felony count of criminal possession of a controlled substance in the second-degree, along with aggravated unlicensed operation in the third-degree and other vehicle/traffic violations.
Morey was reportedly stopped shortly before 2:20 a.m. after officers say they witnessed traffic violations.
Investigation revealed Morey was wanted on a Rome City Court Bench Warrant. Furthermore, her New York driver’s license was reportedly suspended.
While police searched the vehicle, it’s alleged that they found nearly 170-grams of meth.
She was held for arraignment in Rome City Court.
