Trial for one of numerous Correctional Officers charged with murder for fatal beating at Marcy facility set for this fall

UTICA- A trial date has been set for this fall for one of the numerous Correctional Officers charged with murder in the fatal beating of Robert Brooks.

According to the latest developments from WWNY-TV, a judge ordered during a hearing this past Tuesday that a trial date for David Kingsley is aimed for October 6.

From Adams, NY, Kingsley is one of numerous prison guards charged with murder after Marcy Correctional inmate, Robert Brooks, was beaten and died last December.

The incident was captured on body worn cameras.
