Troopers arrest local resident on DWI charges in Oneida County

DEERFIELD- A local resident from Herkimer County is accused of intoxicated driving.

During the late hours on Tuesday, the New York State Police (Remsen) arrested and charged Kenneth J. Smith, 38, of Cold Brook, NY with one count each of DWI (first-offense) and operating a motor vehicle (w/a .08 of 1% BAC or greater).

According to Troopers, this arrest was made shortly after 11:00 p.m. in the town of Deerfield, Oneida County.

At press time, police said that Smith was issued with an appearance ticket.
