Troopers charge Lewis County resident with Petit Larceny as a crime of public corruption in Potsdam

POTSDAM- A North Country area resident is faced with an accusation filed this week in St. Lawrence County.

New York State Police (Canton) arrested and charged Taylor J. Chambers, 37, of Harrisville, NY on Tuesday afternoon for one misdemeanor count of petit larceny (as a crime of public corruption).

Troopers said this charge was filed on Tuesday afternoon in the wake of a complaint filed in the town of Potsdam.

At press time, authorities said that Chambers was issued with an appearance ticket.

There were no further details provided.
