
LERAY- A North Country resident is accused of charges stemming from an alleged assault over the weekend, authorities report.
Raheem H. Love, 26, of Evans Mills, NY was arrested Sunday afternoon by the New York State Police (Lowville). Love is officially charged with one felony count of strangulation in the second-degree and one misdemeanor count of criminally possessing a weapon in the fourth-degree.
According to Troopers, these charges were filed in the wake of assault complaints in the town of LeRay, Jefferson County.
At press time, an arrest status for Love was unknown and State Police said an investigation is pending.
