TROOPERS: Domestic dispute in Boonville results in arrest of local resident

BOONVILLE- A domestic dispute last week in Northern Oneida County has resulted in charges filed against a local resident, authorities say.

Travis J. Weiler, 39, of Boonville, NY was arrested Tuesday morning by the New York State Police (Remsen). Weiler is officially charged with one misdemeanor count each of criminal mischief (w/intent to damage property) and criminal contempt in the second-degree (disobeying court order).

According to Troopers, the arrest stems from an alleged domestic incident, which was reported to authorities in the town of Boonville on December 13.

At press time, Weiler’s arrest status was listed as held.

There were no further details provided to report.
