BOONVILLE- Authorities in Northern Oneida County have announced the arrest of two local women in the wake of a home invasion investigation last month.
Sabrina A. Frizzell, 43, and Shawna M. Ferris, 39, both of Boonville, NY are charged with two felony counts each of burglary in the second-degree and criminal mischief in the third-degree.
Furthermore, the pair stand accused of four misdemeanor counts each for endangering the welfare of a child. In addition, officials say Ferris was charged with a violation of second-degree harassment.
According to the Boonville Police Department, Frizzell and Ferris are both accused of forcing their way into a village home on June 25.
During the invasion, it’s alleged that both suspects viciously attacked a female victim of the home by grabbing her by the hair and punching her in the face and head numerous times, Officer in Charge Fred Robenski said.
It’s also reported that four children, who were in the home, witnessed the entire incident.
Boonville Police said both Frizzell and Ferris were arraigned and then released to appear in Boonville Town Court at a later date.
