Two local residents charged for criminally possessing a controlled substance in Herkimer County: TROOPERS

RUSSIA- Two local residents from near the Kuyahoora Valley area are accused of criminally possessing a controlled substance in Herkimer County, authorities say.

Gino R. Erb, 30, of Cold Brook, NY and Connor H. Hughes, 22, of Poland, NY were arrested Sunday night by the New York State Police (Herkimer). Both suspects are formally charged with one misdemeanor count each of criminally possessing a controlled substance in the seventh-degree.

According to Troopers, these charges were filed in the town of Russia. At press time, police said an investigation was pending.

Both Erb and Hughes were issued with an appearance ticket.

There were no further details available to report.
