ONEIDA COUNTY- Two residents from Oneida County were sent to local hospitals following reports of a collision over the weekend.

It happened at around 9:40 a.m. Saturday on Lee Center-Taberg Road, town of Lee.

Sheriff’s Deputies determined Lisabeth Iglesias, 59, from Rome, NY was heading west in a 2004 Buick Sedan and ended up striking a 2018 GMC Sierra, reportedly driven by Paul Taylor, 52, of Lee, NY.

Taylor’s truck was forced off the road and rolled at-least twice before resting on its passenger side, trapping Taylor inside.

Members from Lee Center Fire Department worked to free Taylor and get him to St. Elizabeth’s Hospital. Iglesias suffered minor injuries and was taken to Rome Memorial Hospital.

Deputies issued Iglesias with several citations for traffic infractions, returnable to the Town of Lee Court at a later date.

AmCare Ambulance provided assistance on scene.
