LOWVILLE- U.S. Senate Majority Leader Charles E. Schumer visited the North Country on Friday by touring the Kraft-Heinz facility in Lowville, NY.
“The plant is thriving and recently secured a major $22 million federal investment to upgrade and de-carbonize its heating process to significantly reduce carbon emissions from the Inflation Reduction Act and Bipartisan Infrastructure & Jobs Law,” the Senator said.
“I’m thrilled that the feds are churning up resources to create a cleaner, greener future for the plant and these laws are continuing to deliver for the North Country.”
