FOR LEWIS AND JEFFERSON COUNTIES-LAKE EFFECT SNOW WARNING IN EFFECT...Extremely heavy lake effect snow. Additional snow accumulations 2 to 3 feet in the most persistent lake snows today through Monday. * WHERE...The Eastern Lake Ontario Region. The greatest additional accumulations are expected from the northern Tug Hill region to near Watertown. Lake effect snow will move back into Oswego County Sunday night. * WHEN...Until 7 PM EST Monday. * IMPACTS...Whiteout conditions are expected and will make travel treacherous and potentially dangerous. Travel will be very difficult to impossible within the heaviest portion of the lake effect snowband.

FOR NORTHERN HERKIMER COUNTY...WINTER STORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 7 AM EST MONDAY...* WHAT...Heavy lake effect snow. Total snow accumulations up to 8
  inches between Routes 8 and 28, and up to 2 feet north of Route 28. * WHERE...Northern Herkimer County. * WHEN...Until 7 AM EST Monday. 
* IMPACTS...Travel could be difficult along and north of Route 28.

FOR ONEIDA COUNTY-This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for central New York. .DAY ONE...Today and tonight.Hazardous weather is not expected at this time. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday. Periods of lake effect snow will affect north central New York starting Sunday night, when a few inches may accumulate in parts of Cayuga and Onondaga Counties. Lighter lake effect snow will continue through Tuesday night. A clipper system will bring more widespread light snow to the region Wednesday, followed by potentially more significant lake effect snow Wednesday night into Thursday. Much colder temperatures and gusty winds are expected to arrive on Friday.
