UPDATE: Elderly man taken to hospital after tractor incident Sunday near Remsen, emergency responders say

ONEIDA COUNTY- An incident over the weekend involving a tractor sent an elderly male to the hospital, emergency officials say.

It was during the early hours on Sunday, September 24 when 9-1-1 dispatchers received reports of a tractor that rolled over on-top of an elderly man.

The incident occurred on the Llewellyn Road, town of Steuben. Details as of this update remain slim, but Remsen Fire Chief Bob Eaton told us the man was rushed to an area hospital.

The extent of his injuries remains unknown. The Oneida County Sheriff’s Office is handling the investigation.

We anticipate additional details to surface and we will share another update when anything new develops.
