UPDATE: Missing Lewis County man found deceased in abandoned West Carthage garage; State Police cite no criminal activity

WEST CARTHAGE- Authorities have made an update regarding the case of Tyler J. Moroughan, 30, who was officially reported missing last month.

According to State Police investigators, his body was found in an abandoned West Carthage garage at 67 Champion Street.

The scene was occupied sometime around 7:00 p.m. Tuesday evening with emergency responders, including West Carthage Fire Department.

As of this update, the State Police said there is no evidence that suggests any criminal activity.

The investigation is now closed.
