UPDATE: Missing woman found deceased in Boonville area creek; authorities cite no suspicious circumstances

BOONVILLE- Authorities have released an update regarding a local woman, who was reported missing in the Boonville, NY area this week.

According to the Oneida County Sheriff’s Office, Emma May Lyon was found deceased in a small creek located within the village limits.

Emergency responders were dispatched Harvey Place shortly before 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, where a body (identified later as Emma Lyon), was discovered in Mill Creek.

As of this report, the cause of her death is currently under investigation, but at this time, there does not appear to be suspicious circumstances surrounding her death.
