MARTINSBURG- Authorities have updated with new information regarding the snowmobile wreck over the weekend in Lewis County.

As originally reported by Martinsburg Fire Department, it happened on Saturday on the Flat Rock Road.

Sheriff's Investigators have determined that Eugene M. Fraboni, 58 (no hometown provided), somehow lost control of his snowmobile, causing it to overturn.

As a result, Fraboni was ejected from the machine, but was alert and conscious upon arrival of emergency services, the Sheriff's Office said.

Following an evaluation on-scene by EMS, Fraboni was loaded into a medical helicopter and flown to SUNY Upstate Medical Center.

Injuries were not specified exactly at press time.

Martinsburg Fire Department and Lewis County Search & Rescue assisted.
