
CONSTABLEVILLE- A search warrant executed this week has resulted in a list of felony drug and weapons charges against a Lewis County resident.
Thanks to the team work between the New York State Police (Lowville) and the Troop D Violent Gang and Narcotics Enforcement Team (VGNET), along with members of the Lewis County Sheriff’s Office, the warrant was executed on Wednesday at a residence on West Street.
During the execution of the search warrant, investigators seized approximately 52 grams of methamphetamine, 9 grams of cocaine, 11 firearms, including a privately manufactured “ghost gun” pistol, an AR style weapon, and multiple high-capacity magazines.
As originally reported Thursday morning, State Police said Jennifer Orona, 43, of Constableville, NY was formally charged with one felony count each of criminally possessing an assault weapon in the third-degree; criminally possessing a firearm; criminally possessing a weapon in the third-degree (ammunition feeding device); criminally possessing narcotic drugs in the fourth-degree; criminally possessing a controlled substance in the third-degree (narcotic drug w/intent to sell) and criminally possessing a controlled substance in the fourth-degree (meth).
Orona was also charged with a misdemeanor count of criminally possessing a weapon in the fourth-degree (possession of a ghost gun).
Orona was arraigned at Town of New Bremen Court and released on $100 bail.
