Vehicle larceny complaint in Lewis County results in arrest of North Country area suspect

DIANA- A vehicle larceny complaint this week in Lewis County has resulted in the arrest of a North Country area resident.

Andrew William Swanson, 33, of Natural Bridge, NY was formally charged Monday night by the New York State Police (Carthage) for one felony count of grand larceny in the fourth-degree and one misdemeanor of criminal mischief (w/intent to damage property).

Troopers said this arrest stems from a vehicle larceny complaint on Monday in the town of Diana.

At press time, authorities said that Swanson was issued with an appearance ticket.

There were no further details provided.
