Washington County, NY man Killed in a Motor Vehicle-Snowmobile Accident in the Town of Lyonsdale

TOWN OF LYONSDALE-A 56 year old Ft. Edwards, New York man was killed Saturday evening in a motor vehicle--snowmobile accident that occurred on Marmon Road in the Town of Lyonsdale. Lewis County Sheriff’s Deputies reported that Bridgette Quiles of Boonville was driving a Dodge pick up truck on Marmon Road when a 2021 Polaris snowmobile operated by Joseph Harrington of Ft. Edward, failed to stop at a stop sign. Harrington’s sled entered the road and was struck by the Quiles vehicle. Despite lifesaving efforts from first responders, Harrington succumbed at the scene. The investigation was ongoing as of the Sunday morning press release. Deputies were assisted by Boonville Ambulance, Port Leyden Ambulance, Lewis County Search and Rescue, Port Leyden Fire Department, Lyons Falls Fire Department and Unlimited Collision.
