
NEW BREMEN- A resident from Western New York is accused of intoxicated driving following a traffic stop early Wednesday in Lewis County, authorities say.
Daniel T. Stanford, 42, of Fairport, NY was arrested early Wednesday morning by the New York State Police (Lowville). Stanford is officially charged with one felony count of aggravated unlicensed operation in the first-degree (alcohol); along with one misdemeanor count each of DWI, use of a vehicle w/out an interlock device and criminally possessing a controlled substance in the seventh-degree.
According to Troopers, these charges were all filed in the town of New Bremen.
At press time, Stanford’s arrest status was listed as unknown and police said an investigation was pending.
