13 felony charges filed against man arrested on warrant in Lowville, Troopers say

LOWVILLE- A man from out of state is faced with a swath of felony charges stemming from a warrant, authorities are reporting.

Robert C. LeBlanc, 48, of Groveland, MA was arrested Thursday by the New York State Police (Lowville).

He is officially charged with seven felony counts of criminally possessing a weapon in the third-degree (ammo clip); two felony counts each of criminally possessing a weapon in the second-degree (loaded firearm) and criminal mischief in the third-degree (property value > $250); one felony count each of criminally possessing a weapon in the third-degree (assault rifle) and reckless endangerment in the first-degree; and finally one misdemeanor count of menacing in the second-degree (w/a weapon).

All of these charges were filed in the village of Lowville, NY, Troopers said.

At press time, police said LeBlanc was held.

No further details were provided to report.
