North Country sex offender accused of failing to properly register with the state: NYSP

RUSSIA- A North Country sex offender is accused of failing to properly register with the state, authorities say.

Larry L. Kelley, 48, of Ogdensburg, NY was arrested Thursday evening by the New York State Police (Herkimer). He is officially charged with one felony count each of sex offender registration violation (second offense) and sex offender failing to report change of address and/or internet accounts, attendance, employment or residence at any institution of higher education.

According to Troopers, these charges were filed in the town of Russia.

At press time, Kelley’s arrest status was listed as cash bail.
