17 businesses and establishments checked for compliance in latest State Police underage drinking operation

BOONVILLE- The New York State Police recently conducted an underage drinking initiative throughout the northern half of Oneida County, where undercover Troopers checked for compliance with the use of underage individuals, who cannot lie about their age, or provide a false date of birth.

Out of 17 businesses and establishments checked for compliance, 16 of them were found in good standing, officials said.

The one establishment found in violation was Sunoco Gas Station, located on State Route 12 in the village of Boonville, NY.

As previously reported on Friday, Hardeep Kaur, 36, of Boonville, NY was arrested Thursday evening by the New York State Police and formally charged with one misdemeanor count of unlawfully dealing with a child in the first-degree (alcohol).
