Ashley Roberts National Anthem

BOONVILLE- Ashley Roberts will perform the National Anthem to help kick-off the 135th annual Boonville-Oneida County Fair.

Ashley, daughter of Sandra and the late Dale Roberts, will sing live at the fairgrounds stage as the lead wave of the traditional fair parade arrives track-side.

The parade begins downtown at 7:00 p.m. and typically arrives to the fairground by 7:30 p.m. (give or take).

Specifically, the parade route starts off from Church Street (by the fire-hall) and leads out onto Main Street. The route then continues through downtown by village square, then left for a brief stretch onto Post Street before another right onto Ford Street and up to the fairground track.

Boonville Police Officer in Charge Fred Robenski would like to remind fair visitors and local residents of the usual parking restrictions and likely delays encountered during the fair parade.

From 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Tuesday, July 25, the no parking restrictions will include:

  • Main Street from First Street to Post Street.
  • Schuyler Street to Post Street.
  • Post Street from Erwin Street to Ford Street.
  • Ford Street from Post Street to Summit Street.

Additionally, anyone entering the village between 6:30 p.m. and 9:00 p.m. should expect long delays until the parade concludes, Officer Robenski emphasized.

The 135th annual Boonville-Oneida County Fair runs through Sunday, July 30. Check out the latest events schedule here.
