WEBB- A Mohawk Valley resident is accused of driving on a suspended New York State license in the Western Adirondacks, authorities say.
It was shortly before noontime on Sunday when 9-1-1 dispatchers began fielding complaints of a group of erratically acting vehicles on State Route 28, near McKeever.
Witnesses said the vehicles were heading north and Town of Webb Police prepared to intercept them.
Officers managed to locate the vehicles just south of Old Forge, NY, where a traffic stop was initiated on Birch Street in Thendara.
Three vehicles in total were stopped, with two drivers receiving traffic tickets for unregistered motor vehicle and unlawfully tinted windows.
Their names were not provided by police, however; the third driver, identified as Kevin S. Siguencia-Sarmiento, 22, of Utica, NY was arrested and charged for aggravated unlicensed operation in the second-degree and uninspected motor vehicle.
It's alleged that Siguencia-Sarmiento was driving on a suspended New York State driver's license.
All charges are returnable to Webb Town Court at a later date.
No further details were provided.
