Aubuchon Hardware supports Lewis County Hospice with matching grant

LOWVILLE- A North Country hardware store has gifted its support to Lewis County Hospice.

Aubuchon Hardware in Carthage, NY managed to raise over $2,500 in June through their ‘round up’ campaign, where customers were offered an opportunity to round up their purchases to help support Lewis County Hospice.

The Aubuchon Foundation subsequently and generously matched that total with a $2,500 grant.

Lewis County Hospice provides holistic comfort care for the terminally ill and their loved ones.

"The generous donation to Lewis County Hospice from Aubuchon Hardware and the Aubuchon Foundation during the Round Up Campaign will provide financial resources to ensure Lewis County Hospice patients receive excellent end of life care," officials said in a statement.

All gifts made to Lewis County Hospice are tax deductible.
