Ava domestic dispute results in felony charge against Boonville resident: TROOPERS

AVA- A local resident from Oneida County is faced with a felony accusation in the wake of a reported domestic dispute this week.

According to the New York State Police (Lee), Haley E. Vanderland, 20, of Boonville, NY was formally arrested and charged on Wednesday evening with one felony count of criminal mischief in the third-degree (damaging another person’s property w/damages exceeding $250).

Troopers said this arrest stems from a domestic incident that occurred earlier that afternoon in the town of Ava.

At press time, the arrest status for Vanderland was listed as “other.”

There were no further details provided.
