Louisiana resident arrested, charged with DWI, unlicensed operation in Lewis County

MARTINSBURG- A suspect from out of state is accused of DWI and unlicensed operation in Lewis County.

During the evening hours on Wednesday, the New York State Police (Lowville) arrested and charged Devin M. Owens, 30, of Violet, LA with one count each of aggravated unlicensed operation in the second-degree, DWI (first offense) and operating a motor vehicle (w/a .08 of 1% BAC or greater).

According to Troopers, these charges were all filed in the town of Martinsburg.

At press time, police said that Owens was released to a third party.

There were no further details provided.
