
BOONVILLE- Black River Valley Business and Community Alliance (BRVBCA) hosted its organizational meeting this week.
They’re a newly formed organization, based out of Boonville, NY.
According to a statement released by interim Secretary Lisa Stanford, there were 15 attendees with an active interest to become a part of the interim board.
Other members of the community were in attendance as well.
Following a series of nominations, an interim board was established, including key positions: Interim President: Josh Fitzgerald, Interim Vice President: Jacquelyn DeVoe-Fox, Interim Secretary: Lisa Stanford, and Interim Treasurer: Andrew Scheve.
Membership and By-Laws Committees were also formed.

“Anyone who has the ambition to better the communities you serve, we invite you to attend our next meeting,” the statement reads.
The next meeting of the BRVBCA is scheduled for Monday, May 8, 2023 at 4:30 p.m. and will also be held at the Village Offices.
The meeting will review membership requests, bylaws, and other business.
