BOONVILLE- Those who live in or frequent the village should be aware that street construction is aimed to begin on Lansing Place Tuesday, June 20.
During the project, village officials say the street will be open to local traffic only.
With summer on the horizon, village officials remind folks to mark their calendars for the traditional Fourth of July concert night and fireworks celebration.
It will take place this year Friday, June 30 at Erwin Park, with ‘Spoony & the Tone Chasers’ playing live from the Ethan Allen Pavilion at 7:00 p.m. *CORRECTION: the date is June 30, not July 30 as originally misprinted.*
Fireworks will follow at dark.
Don’t miss out on the Chamber of Commerce and their Farmer’s Market – held Thursdays from 12:00 noon to 6:00 p.m. starting June 22 through October 5.
The market will be located at the Lansing Pavilion, or otherwise known as the upper portion of Erwin Park off from Moose River Road.
The Chamber office has also announced Saturday, October 7 as their Fall Apple Festival. Stay tuned for more details.
In case you haven’t heard, Boonville Community Harvest Farmer’s Market will also run Fridays in the upper end of Erwin Park from June 16 to October 6 from 2:00 to 7:00 p.m.
The new market will be collaborating during Adirondack Central School PTA’s Food Truck Fridays on June 16, 30; July 21; August 25; September 8 and 22.
Speaking of Erwin Park, the splash pad is open. Hours are 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. daily. The splash pad is located next to the former swimming pond, off from State Route 12.
Finally, Boonville Concert Band will host performances at the Ethan Allen Pavilion (lower Erwin Park) on select Fridays throughout the summer.
Dates include July 14 and 21; August 4 and 18. Stay tuned for more details.
