BOONVILLE- Guests who were ticketed through the gates for the 137th annual Boonville-Oneida County Fair were just shy of 48,000, an approximate two-percent decrease from last-year’s tally of 48,799.

Despite some overnight rain Saturday and a few showers early Sunday during the fair, Mother Nature was kind the rest of the week, allowing fairgoers to take advantage of some fantastic weather, as fair officials say it was one of the best weeks weather wise in quite some time.

When you look back, the last time Boonville-Oneida County Fair saw over 50,000 in attendance was the summer of 2008, where over 54,000 ticketed spectators came through the gates.

Their worst attendance year since 2008 was 2018, where 36,735 spectators were counted.

Though there have been a few close contending years, the highest attendance recording for the Boonville Fair since 2008 was last year’s tally.

2025 also marked a 75-year celebration of having Coleman Bros. Midway for the carnival attraction.

The Coleman family was recognized for this highlight anniversary during a special ceremony Thursday evening of the fair during the annual BBQ with the county legislators and other politicians.

The Coleman’s also had the honor of leading the traditional fair parade Tuesday evening as Grand Marshal.
