BOONVILLE- 41,584 people came through the gates for the 135th annual Boonville-Oneida County Fair.
That's nearly a 10% decrease from the year-before, where 46,559 people were documented for attendance.
Fair officials say heavy rains Thursday and Saturday this-year discouraged fairgoers from visiting.
However with that being said, Sunday's demolition derby crowd seemed intense and despite the rain Saturday, the Chris Cagle concert went on as planned.
With the New York State Woodsmen's Field Days approaching quickly, the fair board is anticipating their annual September picnic and will soon start preparing for the 136th fair in 2024.
