TOWN OF DENMARK-A 21 year old Carthage man is facing D.W.I. and other charges following an early Sunday morning vehicle stop in the Town of Denmark. Lewis County Sheriff’s deputies reported that they initiated a vehicle stop on Doran Road after a vehicle, driven by Dylan R. Williams, allegedly failed to keep right on Mechanic Street. Williams subsequently failed field sobriety tests at the scene and was arrested for Driving while Intoxicated. He was transported to the Public Safety Building where he reportedly registered a Blood Alcohol Content of .20 %. He was then officially charged with Aggravated Driving While Intoxicated with a B.A.C. of .18 or greater; Driving While Intoxicated: both Class U misdemeanors and Failure to keep right, a vehicle violation. Williams was issued appearance tickets returnable to the Town of Denmark Court at a later date.
