TROOPERS: North Country resident charged with intoxicated driving in West Carthage

WEST CARTHAGE- A North Country resident is accused of intoxicated driving in Jefferson County, authorities say.

Patrick Gabriel Knowles, 36, of Carthage, NY was arrested Thursday night by the New York State Police (Carthage). Knowles is formally charged with one count each of DWI (first offense) and operating a motor vehicle (w/a .08 of 1% BAC or greater).

According to Troopers, the arrest was made in the village of West Carthage.

At press time, police said that an investigation was pending.

Knowles was released to a third-party and there were no further details to report.
