Carthage Man Arrested following Domestic Incident in Jefferson County
VILLAGE OF BLACK RIVER-A 61 year old Carthage man is facing charges following a reported domestic incident that reportedly occurred in the Village of Black River late Friday night. New York State Police from the Watertown Barracks charged David W, Smith with one count each of Criminal Trespass in the 2nd Degree-Enter or Remain unlawfully in a dwelling; Resisting Arrest; and Obstruction of Governmental Administration in the 2nd Degree-Preventing Official Function, all Class A misdemeanors. Smith was arraigned in Jefferson County Central Arraignment and the investigation is pending. No further details were released from the State Police.
