Carthage Man Arrested on Burglary and Criminal Mischief Charges in the Town of Denmark
TOWN OF DENMARK-A 57 year old Carthage man was arrested Saturday following an investigation into an alleged burglary that occurred on November 11th in the Town of Denmark. New York State Police from the Lowville Barracks charged Clifford Gordon Smith with one count each of Burglary in the 3rd Degree-Illegal entry with Intent to Commit a Crime; a Class D felony and Criminal Mischief with Intent to damage Property; a Class A misdemeanor. Smith was released on his own recognizance and will answer the charges in the Town of Denmark court at a later date.
