Carthage man is facing Felony Charges for Criminal Possession of Stolen Property and Possession of a Weapon

TOWN OF CHAMPION-A 29 year old Carthage man was arrested on felony charges on Friday, following a report of a larceny in the Town of Champion. New York State Police from the Watertown Barracks charged 29 year old  Wayne Timpson with one count each of Criminal Possession of Stolen Property in the Third Degree with a value greater than $3,000.00 and Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the Third Degree-bomb, silencer, machine gun: both Class D felonies. Timpson was transported to Jefferson County Central Arraignment in Watertown. No further details were released.
