Carthage resident charged in petit larceny in Jefferson County larceny investigation, Troopers say

BLACK RIVER- A North Country resident is faced with an accusation stemming from a Jefferson County larceny investigation.

Mark A. Adams, 40, of Carthage, NY was arrested and charged by the New York State Police (Watertown) on Sunday afternoon for one misdemeanor count of petit larceny.

According to Troopers, the arrest correlates to a larceny complaint, which was filed last December in the village of Black River, NY.

At press time, police said that Adams made an appearance for centralized arraignment.

There were no further details provided.
