Carthage woman accused of petit larceny, Troopers say

PAMELIA- A North Country woman is accused of shoplifting, authorities say.

It was shortly after 3:00 p.m. Monday when the New York State Police in Carthage arrested Sara M. Lavancha, 37, of Carthage, NY. She is officially charged with on misdemeanor count of petit larceny.

According to Troopers, the arrest stems from complaints last October in the town of Pamelia. At press time, police said Lavancha was issued with an appearance ticket.

There were no further details included.
