LOWVILLE- At 3:00 pm, it was reported to the Incident Command Center the water main break was repaired.
As a result, the water pressure and flow to the health system are stable and supported by the primary water feed.
- All clinical operations are fully functional.
- At 3:30 pm, the full facility diversion ended.
- Street work at the site of the water main break continues. NYS Route 26 continues to divert traffic except for emergency.
- The Incident Command Center is now closed.
- The county's State of Emergency was lifted as of 3:30 pm.
The health system, along with the county, village, and local contractors, successfully managed and resolved a serious water service limitation today. Good work by many to ensure a safe environment of care was maintained to meet the community's health care needs.
