LOWVILLE- At 3:00 pm, it was reported to the Incident Command Center the water main break was repaired.
As a result, the water pressure and flow to the health system are stable and supported by the primary water feed.
All clinical operations are fully functional.
At 3:30 pm, the full facility diversion ended.
Street work at the site of the water main break continues. NYS Route 26 continues to divert traffic except for emergency.
The Incident Command Center is now closed.
The county's State of Emergency was lifted as of 3:30 pm.
The health system, along with the county, village, and local contractors, successfully managed and resolved a serious water service limitation today. Good work by many to ensure a safe environment of care was maintained to meet the community's health care needs.
